Prince William has had his say on the eternal debate about who is the greatest football player of all time between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

The royal Aston Villa fan was pressed on his favourite celebration before going on to pick the best player in a Q&A with Villans defender Tyrone Mings, and named Barcelona legend Messi as his number one.
WHAT PRINCE WILLIAM SAID
Asked in the interview with for the celebration he would want his ideal footballer to have, the prince said: "Well the most iconic I guess is Cristiano Ronaldo's."
When Mings asked him if he has tried to replicate the famous 'Siu' celebration in his garden, he said: "Well, obviously! And then I do a hammy."
He was then asked to put his favourite players head-to-head and ended up with Ronaldo against Messi, giving the nod to the Inter Miami player.
"Gotta go Messi, just," he said.

Messi has not featured in Inter Miami's last three matches but will be available for their Champions Cup match against Cavalier in Jamaica this week. Ronaldo and his Al-Nassr team-mates will face Al-Kholood in the Saudi Pro League on Friday.
