PSG have entered a new era, without their talismanic, record-scorer Mbappe, who left for Real Madrid earlier this summer. Finding a way to replace his goals and still be a force in France and Europe is a big task. While it is not fair to put all of that pressure on Doue, he and the club will hope he can hit the ground running for them this season after his big-money signing.

He told the club's website: “I'm delighted to be joining Paris Saint-Germain. I'm really excited, and also happy and proud. It's a dream come true. I can't wait to discover the Parc des Princes in a PSG jersey and to play in front of these fans."
WHAT NEXT?
Doue, who scored seven goals and bagged six assists in 57 appearances for Rennes in Ligue 1, helped France win a silver medal at the Olympics and after a break, he will link up with his new PSG team-mates in the coming weeks.
