Corriere dello Sport recently reported that Paul Pogba wants a Manchester United exit in order to return to former club Juventus.
The Red Devils lost Pogba to the Serie A outfit in 2012, when the midfielder headed for the Italian giants having not signed a new contract with the Premier League club. United then re-signed the 64-cap France international for a then-world record transfer fee of £89 million in the summer of 2016.

The 25-year-old has since been a regular in Jose Mourinho’s starting XI, though has only fleetingly impressed and shown his true ability. All too often, the Frenchman has struggled to perform consistently in the Premier League and has often looked stifled by the Portuguese coach’s tactical approach.
As per the aforementioned report, Pogba seemingly now wants a return to Turin where he enjoyed considerably more success on the pitch. The move would probably be a good one for the midfielder, and United would perhaps benefit from the enforced reshuffle and rethink that his exit would cause.
That being said, Pogba’s departure would represent another embarrassing reflection upon the Red Devils’ transfer policy in recent years.
Many United fans would still be happy to see Pogba go, though. Of those we polled, 62% voted in favour of allowing the World Cup winner to return to Juventus. See the full results below.
