Kylian Mbappe has risked incurring the wrath of Paris Saint-Germain supporters after celebrating wildly when seeing a goal scored against them. That effort was, however, recorded by the Real Madrid superstar’s brother, Ethan, which can be forgiven. Mbappe was among those in the stands as PSG were held to a dramatic 1-1 draw by Lille – with his iconic celebration being broken out against the reigning Ligue 1 champions.
Mbappe's record-breaking goal tally for PSG
World Cup winner Mbappe is PSG’s all-time leading scorer, having found the target for them on 235 occasions through 264 appearances. He spent six years at Parc des Princes – winning the Ligue 1 title in each of those – but left for Spain as a free agent in the summer of 2024.

Mbappe has been in red-hot form again this season, registering 14 goals for Real in 10 games. He helped to fire them back to the top of La Liga on Saturday when netting in a 3-1 victory over Villarreal.
A day later he was back in his homeland to watch brother Ethan line up against PSG. Nuno Mendes appeared to have put Luis Enrique’s side on course for three points in that contest, but there was to be a late sting in the tail.

Mbappe junior, who is 18 years of age, scored in the 85th minute to earn Lille a share of the points in a 1-1 draw. He displayed impressive poise when picking up possession just inside the penalty area, shifting the ball onto his left foot and firing into the bottom corner. Kylian was caught on camera celebrating in the stands.
Ethan, aware that his sibling was in the crowd, took to striking Kylian’s iconic folded arms pose after hitting the net. He now has two goals to his name this season, having opened his account at senior level against Toulouse in September.
