Matchday four was successful for Barcelona last weekend.
The Catalan giants completely crushed Valencia at the Camp Nou, snatching all three points after a 5-2 triumph on the night.
And while the spotlight was very much on the 16-year-old Ansu Fati, who was once again the star of the show, scoring and assisting a goal against Los Che and breaking more records along the way, some of the returning players might have slipped under the radar.

One of those players is Barcelona’s veteran superstar, the 32-year-old Luis Suarez, who returned from his injury by coming on as a substitute.
Indeed, in a run-out before the club’s Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund, Suarez made an instant impact, bagging two goals.
Apart from scoring, Suarez also tallied three out of three shots on target, one key pass and 87.5% passing accuracy in the time he spent on the pitch of Camp Nou.
When it comes to impactful substitutes, it doesn’t really get much better than that.
Suarez proved that he’s very much still got it despite his injury woe and his advancing age. Indeed, he has thus far netted 179 goals in 249 appearances for the club.
Of course, Barca have been without Lionel Messi for the entirety of the 2019/20 season so far and they have needed others to step up in his absence.
Knowing that Suarez is still at his brilliant best will, thus, be a boost for the Catalans, particularly as they prepare for a huge clash with the German giants in Europe.
Who knows, maybe it was the incorporation of Antoine Griezmann, Barcelona’s big summer signing, that pushed Suarez and gave him some extra motivation, if he needed it in the first place.
One thing is for sure: he will need to keep it up against Dortmund on Wednesday.
