Supporters are getting an apparent peak at what kit manufacturers adidas allegedly have lined up for the next campaign, with some bold designs generating a mixed response. Images of a black away kit that features green and red accents – which offer a nod towards a training top from years gone by that was designed to celebrate the friendship between Ian Wright and David Rocastle – has divided opinion.
WHAT THE FANS ARE SAYING
Many Arsenal followers, including @getprawned, are of the opinion that the shirt is “f*cking awful”. Another, @ArsenalN7, has suggested that the Gunners are lining up a “Lynx Africa kit”, while @mannyd_02 says it “looks like a GK kit”. Others have branded the design “pathetic”, “disgraceful” and “disgusting”.
