Hollywood superstar Reynolds has been involved with the Red Dragons, alongside fellow chairman Rob McElhenney, since 2021. His business interests outside of football have seen him form part of a consortium that owns a stake in the Alpine Formula 1 team.

Reynolds, as part of the Tylis-Porter group, is also involved with Mexican outfit Necaxa. According to , there are plans to move from Central to South America and acquire Colombian top-flight side La Equidad.
WHAT A SOURCE SAID
The Tylis-Porter group – which includes actress Longoria, ex-Arsenal star Mesut Ozil and baseball player Justin Verlander – are in talks regarding a takeover of Bogota-based La Equidad. An agreement is said to be close, with a source telling El Tiempo: "We have not signed yet. The official signing will take place next Thursday. There are some agreements that have been reached, but until they are signed, we have a confidentiality agreement, so we cannot give exact figures.”

The source added, with it yet to be revealed how much cash Reynolds is injecting into the project: “These figures are close to the minimum of 20 million dollars that we initially asked for, but it is slightly lower, although very close. The conditions are excellent, and very good people are coming to invest in Colombian football.”
