The goal is the 14-year-old's fourth of the MLS NEXT Pro season. Sullivan also contributed three assists so far this campaign. In addition, Sullivan made his MLS debut earlier this summer, becoming the youngest player to ever play in the league by smashing Freddy Adu's youth age record.
“It was like… I've never been on the field with noise like that,” Sullivan told GOAL earlier this summer. "Obviously, I've been to European Games where the stands are cool and all, but especially hearing it … it was pretty cool. And having my name being the chant was even better.”

The American teenager already has his bright future mapped out, too, as he is set to join Manchester City when he turns 18. For now, though, Sullivan is continuing to push for more MLS minutes – and goals such as Monday's will help his case.
"The future is always pretty exciting and nice to look at," he said this summer. "But as of right now, all my focus is on Philadelphia and making a playoff spot."
