Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli are deliberating on whether to increase their offer for Ivan Toney after seeing an initial £35 million (€41m/$45m) bid getting rejected by Brentford, according to multiple reports. The England international striker has made it clear that he wants to leave the Bees and was dropped from the matchday squad by Thomas Frank for the club's season opener against Crystal Palace.

The Sun, on the other hand, reports that Chelsea are plotting a late swoop for the striker as they look to bolster their attack before the transfer window closes. The Bees are now considering parting ways with Toney as they are reportedly ready to accept an offer in the region of £45m (€53m/$58m).
DID YOU KNOW?
Brentford had earlier valued Toney at £70m, however, they have now reduced their demands after the player made it clear that he wants to exit the Gtech Community Stadium. Toney scored four goals in 17 Premier League appearances for the Bees last season.
