Everton continued their fine form in the Premier League, with a 1-0 victory against Crystal Palace seeing Ronald Koeman’s side secured their fifth consecutive match unbeaten and move within five points of Manchester United.Whilst catching the Red Devils may be difficult and too much to ask, Everton have certainly improved this season and Seamus Coleman has been crucial- with the defender remarkably being the second-top scorer in the Everton squad. With his late strike against the Eagles, Coleman secured his fourth Premier League goal of the season and proved his worth for the Toffees.
The winning goal means that only Romelu Lukaku has scored more Premier League goals for Everton this season than Coleman, which shows the defender’s excellent form as much as it shows that the Toffees need attacking support.
Still, whilst they’re unbeaten in the Premier League and moving forward there can be little room for complaint and Koeman’s side will aim to continue the run in the coming weeks, with upcoming clashes with Stoke City, Bournemouth and Middlesbrough.
