Paredes had an up and cown campaign for the Bundesliga side in 2023-24, finding himself out of the starting XI for a large chunk of the season around the turn of the calendar year. However, he burst back into the team in 2024, earning an eventual 15 starts across 28 total appearances.
Now, heading into the summer, the U.S. will need the talented winger to bring his best form to the international stage as they gear up for the Copa America and the Paris Olympics.

Paredes was named USMNT Young Player of the Year in 2023 after starring for club and country. He was a part of the U.S. November camp and has been a mainstay with the U23s since.

The 21-year-old looks set to play a key role for Marko Mitrovic's side in July, though, and he'll likely report to camp this June for preparation.
